How To Prepare
Before your appointment
Please complete and submit all required forms and questionnaires before your appointment.
Please also have available:
- Relevant medical and mental health history
- List of current and past medication
- Previous psychiatric or psychological reports
- Family history of mental health issues
- School reports or other childhood information for an ADHD assessment, where available
- Any questions you would like to discuss
Telehealth appointment tips
1. Please attend from a private, quiet and well-lit location.
2. Use a reliable internet connection.
3. Check that your camera and microphone are working.
4. Join the appointment a few minutes early.
5. Have photo identification available.
6. Do not attend while driving.

Medicare rebates are not available.

Do I need a GP referral?
Yes. A current GP referral is required before an appointment is confirmed. New clients are asked to send their referral and relevant background information to admin@organicminded.com.au.
Are Medicare rebates available?
No. OrganicMinded is a fully private service. Medicare rebates are not available.
What are the fees?
Initial psychiatric consultation: $990
Follow-up / review consultation: $490

Can ADHD medication be prescribed?
Medication may be considered where clinically appropriate. A diagnosis or medication cannot be guaranteed. Recommendations depend on clinical assessment, safety considerations, and suitability.
What happens after I send my referral?
Your referral will be reviewed to determine whether the service is clinically appropriate. If accepted, you will be contacted with appointment information, forms, fees, and next steps.
What if telehealth is not suitable for me?
If telehealth is not clinically appropriate, you may be advised to seek alternative local, in-person, or urgent services.
